That's right! Ohio is one of very few states that has passed legislation in 1976 which allows trained registered EFDA's to place and finish metallic and esthetic restorations. Ohio Dental Expanded Functions Association was established in 1978. Today ODEFA represents EFDA's from all over the state by increasing awareness of expanded functions and as a voice in the political process. ODEFA works with the OSDB, ODA, ODHA, and ODAA to ensure dental excellence in Ohio.
