The ODEFA Mentoring Program Committee is introducing some new ideas this
year. We hope you will find these options useful. Share the information
with your co-workers and employers! |
Shadowing
We have contacted a few dentists who are
willing to allow an EFDA to shadow another EFDA in their office
during practice hours. Although any EFDA may take advantage of the
opportunity, this concept is geared toward benefiting the EFDA who
is re-entering the restorative aspect of dentistry after being out
of the field for awhile. It is our goal to have offices in all
areas of Ohio where the dentist is open to shadowing.
|
*Please talk with your employer
about possibly offering shadowing and contact your local component
Trustee or the ODEFA President for more information.
|
Refresher Courses for EFDA's
We are currently working with the OSDB
and EFDA Program Directors throughout Ohio to offer refresher
courses for EFDA's. The ODA is planning to offer a course at Annual
Session in Columbus possibly in 2008. We will keep you informed!

Mentoring Options for Dentists
and Graduating Dental Students
ODEFA is offering guidance to any
dentist who is interested in implementing the utilization of an EFDA
in their practice or improving efficiency if currently utilizing an
EFDA.
|
|
Board Members or Advisory Board Members are willing to speak with any
practicing dentist or graduating dental student on the benefits of
utilizing an EFDA. |

*Contact your local component Trustee or
the ODEFA President for more information. |

"The Composite" - A New Feature
in our Newsletter
ODEFA is interested in learning more
about Ohio's EFDA's! We want to share ideas on what materials,
techniques and instruments are preferred by EFDA's in all areas of
the state. If you would like to share your knowledge and expertise
with colleagues, please fill out the questionnaire in
the Newsletter or on this website (click
here) and e-mail to
2thfxxr32@gmail.com, or mail to ODEFA President, Cindy Stahl at
3180 Port Clinton Rd, Fremont, Ohio 43420. You may choose to remain
anonymous, if you wish. It's simple! It's fun! It's all about YOU!
